Frauscher 1212 Ghost: the thrill and fun of drivingĪll in all, the 1212 Ghost is a stylish, elegant yet functional day cruiser, thanks to features such as the retractable bimini and retractable anchor. In fact, thanks to the electrically fold-down lounge area table, it is possible to transform the room into an elegant double cabin, while the spacious and complete washroom features a ceiling whose height guarantees excellent movement possibilities. There is also a large, incredibly high, spacious and versatile cabin. The aft section is characterised by the generous teak swim platform, framed by an innovative ‘open’ profiling of the sides. The wide teak deck, frameless windscreen and iconic vertical bow are among the main features of the 1212 Ghost. What is surprising at first glance is how this boat has managed to maintain the family feeling without a shadow of a doubt, while at the same time introducing innovations that make it a new hull, not an expanded or compressed version of the two models to which it belongs. Everwin opted for a minimalist design, without frills or special effects, but with a clear automotive inspiration that hints at his collaborations with Porsche.

In 12 metres, the intention was to create a pure daycruiser, but one that would also leave the owner free to spend a night or weekend away. The large side air intakes, which had already been featured on the 747 Mirage and later on the 1414 Demon, recall the yard’s two cult models and characterise the boat’s design. The new 1212 Ghost, after all, is the missing link between the 1414 Demon and the Frauscher 1017 GT, and enters the hard-fought 12-metre market segment.
